A centerpiece of Danbury’s life and culture
from the late 1890’s as Danbury Green needed repair

Planning and Zoning Department and City Engineering
-
Re-create what had been a significant part of Danbury’s history from
the turn of the century through World War II
- Manage the
project within a very tight budget
The Result
- “The Precious Treasure of Danbury” is what
the park is now referred to
-
Elmwood Park has become an integral and useful part of the community
-
All work was completed on time and within budget
