• Create a "Village Center" atmosphere within a retail center
• Enhance the image of Somers, NY's town center

The Plan

• A streetscape renovation including sidewalk design, plantings, seating areas, lighting and entrance details
• Dovetail with the existing town streetscape to create a uniform visual sequence from the municipal buildings, churches and park to Towne Centre

The Result

• The Towne Centre at Somers has become the place for neighbors to meet, shop and identify with the town
• The project was managed within budget and on time
